There was a bald, witty genius of a boy who responded magnificently to the spirit's "question". His wish was for the spirit to possess him for the rest of his life! Description of the serialization Kikai Banashi Hanasaka Ikkyuu: There once was an ayakashi called Karma who challenged his victims to a battle of wits. If the subject succeeded, the ayakashi would grant them one wish, but if they lost, he would devour their soul. At the same time, there was a young monk called Hanasaku Ikkyuu, who was famed for his cleverness. He used to eagerly sharpen his mind, solving challenging riddles sent to him, until his mother fell ill. When he found that his cleverness was of no use in helping her, he gave it up. Karma seeks out Ikkyuu, eager to best him in a battle of wits and consume his soul. One day, Ikkyuu rescued a young beggar boy, only to see him fall ill with a mysterious illness. That same day, Karma finally finds Ikkyuu and offers him his dangerous bargain. Thanks to Karma, will Ikkyuu finally have a way to use his cleverness to help the people around him?

A little shallow, perhaps, but a good example of shounen SF/action manga. The manga ended abruptly, because the magazine it was being serialized in changed its target public and it was decided that Xenon didn't fit in anymore.

The manga follows the story of 16-year-old Mana on an adventure through the Aquarian Age. A sixteen year old girl, Mana returns to her hometown to reunite with her childhood friend after having been gone for seven years. But her friend, Kaname, seems to have changed too while they've been apart. Mana's re-emergence soon sets off a series of events that alters the lives of Kaname and his best friend, Naoya. Classmates Isshin and Tsukasa, as well as their teacher Tomonori, find themselves drawn in as well. Soon, they all discover that they have a part to play in the "Aquarian Age" - a war that has been secretly raging for thousands of years. Now the future of the world depends on one girl and her destiny.

His best friend and lover is Keika, a mazoku, or demon, in human form. Tiarandear, is the Prince of the western kingdom of water. As chief of all the gods it is his job to maintain harmony in heaven and to direct and control human history. He loves Ashray, but how long can he keep protecting Ashray from the consequences of his violent temper? And if it should become known across heaven that Ashray might be part demon? (For some reason, halfway into the 2nd volume there still is no mention of the northern prince.)

Yuusu's all grown up now, and can't understand Hugh's coldness towards him, so he often abuses Hugh to get his attention. But Yuusu's manipulation's go too far... 4) Yoru Utau Mori Continuation story about the characters from Yumeoi no Mori when they are older. 5) Mori ni Shizumu Tsuki 6) Yurusareta Uta Humans keep demons as slaves or pets for fighting, protection, and sex but there is one, Zai who refuses to fight. Zai is special since he can use magic by creating spells with his songs, but he refuses to sing too... will he, for his master?

Kai, who receives the "virtual-dream," a machine allowing one to dive into a virtual reality of multiple worlds and times, meets a man in the virtual world. This man introduces Kai to out-of-this-world sex within virtual reality. Unable to forget him, Kair dives again into the virtual world in search of him. Is this feeling lust? Or is it love? Note: This manga series has been dropped by the mangaka.
