Also, Naoko Takeuchi released a re-illustrated version of Sailor Moon a few years after the series had been finished after she had dropped Love Witch. This manga won the Kodansha Manga Award in 1993 for shōjo.

From Adachi's Universe: We start with our main protagonist, Shichimi, bidding farewell as he readies for his journey into Edo (on our Earth, Edo was the old name of Tokyo before it became the capital of Japan). His mother has just died, only leaving him a walnut and a request for him to go to his half-siblings. Shichimi bids farewell to a sternly old man, who is a firefighter. We can tell this from the symbol on his cloak. This symbol is also on Shichimi's cloak. Upon reaching the town of Edo, Shichimi meets a mysterious man, who ridicules the peace of the world as an illusion.

The "Time Loss Phenomenon," causes all living beings on Earth to be temporarily turned into statues. During Time Loss, only certain humans -- "Recievers" -- can remain active, and they witness the terrible reality of what's happening: otherworldly monsters are attempting to breach the human dimension. First year middle school student Futaba Sorano and her friend are in the middle of a tennis match when all of a sudden a fish-like monster appears out of the sky. At the same time, everyone around Sorano turns into stone, and then are transformed into monsters. While being chased by these monsters, a mysterious boy named Riu appears, and explains that it is up to her, and the other "Receivers", to use their strange new powers to save the earth from these intruders. Sorano and her fellow Receivers' epic battle to save the earth has begun!

On the planet of Hekiou, there is a continuing war between the first wave of immigrants and the second. An important section of the military uses a native creature, the Niebass, to give its soldiers translocation abilities. These soldiers are all women, with the alien creature transplanted into their wombs. Some people see this practice as a violation of human women by aliens, and Mana Oga's boyfriend has a similar perspective on the matter. Mana Oga is a new soldier in this section, and the story follows her and the other women in her group who accept the alien creatures into their wombs in order to defend their homes.

One night, while he was watching a peculiar anomaly in the heavens, a UMA (Unidentified Mysterious Animal) crash lands near-by. Tomoki finds that what fell in the skies is a winged feminine humanoid named Ikaros from an unfamiliar world of Synapse, who shortly declares herself to be the servant of Tomoki. From then on, more creatures identified as "Angeloids" arrive; with this, he loses his solace, but in the exact same time discovers nice matters the Angeloids bring him, and battle the forces that drop up on Earth. Tomoki Sakurai Tomoki is a teen lad[a] who desires nothing over a tranquil and peaceful existence in Sorami City. He's experienced a recurring dream where he meets an angel, who will be taking off off to the heavens, much to his disappointment, since youth.[ch. 1][b] His existence is forever altered when he meets Ikaros, an angel-like animal who falls from the heavens and becomes his servant.[ch. 1] Despite being a shameless pervert,[c] a characteristic greatly affected by his grandfather and mom,[ch. 7,33,36,49] Tomoki is explained as a-kind and honest man. He strives to make Ikaros and also the resident Angeloids act more like people by having them-not be so focused on compliance, and telling them to make their particular choices.[ch. 9] Although he consents to be Nymph's grasp, he declines to formalize that bond-like he did with Ikaros.[ch. 3 9] He is normally drawn with superb deformed parameters, except when he's serious or relaxed.Tomoki sometimes uses a device to change himself in to a lady named Tomoko (???), therefore he can slip into girls locker-room. But when he's excessively sexually aroused or anxious, these devices will breakdown and he changes back.[ch. 11,33] His lecherous actions and strategies frequently end in failure and mischief.

Diotima is set in 2092, far in the future. This manhwa is considered sci-fi for that. However, the manhwa's plot is "life". The episodes involve lives of captain Namer Joon and her crew onboard the space vessel, Diotima. The plot goes a little further and tries to convey conflicts between Earthians and Moon settlers. There are clearly some mysteries about Namer Joon, Diotima, and its creators.

Set in the near-future, a little-understood form of matter known as "Mile One" allows a powerful and influential Japanese family, the Gowa, to produce a bipedal weapon which they refer to as a Tactical Armor (TA). At this time, a war breaks out between the US and the fictional Middle East country of Belgistan, much like the Gulf War. When US military forces attempt to seize the capital, they are systematically wiped out by what appear to be rival TAs. The Gowa Family seizes this opportunity to demonstrate their weapon system, and civilian pilot Yuushiro Gowa and the military squad to which he is attached are deployed to Belgistan. There, he meets rival TA pilot Miharu, with whom he seems to share a deep spiritual bond.
