Melty Blood (????????, Meruti Buraddo?), is a visual novel and fighting game, co-developed by d?jin circles Type-Moon and French-Bread, originally released at Comiket on December 2002. It is shortened as simply Merubura (?????). Based on Type-Moon's visual novel game, Tsukihime, it later spawned an arcade version, titled Act Cadenza, that was developed by Ecole Software and has also been ported to the PlayStation 2. Basically, it's a retanking of some chapters from Full Metal Panic!. It's sort of like FMP! Fumoffu.. meaning that there's no mecha plotline, only short stories. Also there's an extra story not presented anywhere in each volume of this series.

Yuiko gets into trouble with a skirt chaser and the Rooftop Princess helps her out without asking anything in return, Yuiko quickly develops a strong admiration for the princess and from that point on Mayu will also admire the Princess but in a completely different way than Yuiko. This manga takes place in a school where the students are based on famous shoguns in Japanese history.
